Dr. Sunil Kumar Garg

Dr. Sunil Kumar Garg is a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine and Critical Care at Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery, Dubai. With over 27 years of clinical experience across India and the UAE, he has established himself as a leader in critical care medicine. He completed his MBBS at Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College in Jodhpur and his MD in Internal Medicine at S.M.S. Medical College in Jaipur. Dr. Garg obtained his Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi in 2005, and holds additional credentials including the European Diploma in Intensive Care and UK specialty certification in Acute Medicine.

Dr. Garg's clinical expertise covers the full range of internal medicine and critical care, including management of diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, respiratory conditions, liver disorders, and serious infections. He is particularly skilled in complex airway management, advanced ventilator support, kidney-support therapies, and trauma care. His experience includes leadership roles as Head of Critical Care at multiple hospitals, including NMC Hospital and Sarvodaya Hospital in India, and as a founder consultant at Max Hospital in New Delhi where he helped establish the critical care department.

He is a member of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, the European Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine (USA). Dr. Garg combines evidence-based practice with patient-centered care, managing complex cases involving multiple organ systems in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He is fluent in Hindi and English and holds dual licensing from the Dubai Health Authority in both Internal Medicine and Critical Care.
