Dr. Hala Mohamed

Dr. Hala Mohamed is a Specialist in Dermatology at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai with over 15 years of clinical experience. She trained in Egypt, completing her medical degree from Tanta University and specialist qualifications in dermatology and venereology from Tanta University Hospitals. She holds a PhD in Laser Applications in Dermatology from Cairo University's National Institute of Laser-Enhanced Sciences, reflecting her particular expertise in advanced laser techniques.

Dr. Mohamed treats a comprehensive range of skin, hair and nail conditions for patients of all ages and genders. She diagnoses and manages skin infections, acne and acne scarring, eczema, atopic dermatitis, warts, milia, molluscum and skin tags. Her procedural skills include skin biopsies, freezing and burning techniques, radio frequency treatments, chemical peels and microneedling. She also performs injectable treatments—Botox, dermal fillers, skin boosters, PRP therapy and collagen stimulators—as well as advanced laser treatments for skin rejuvenation, pigmentation problems, vascular concerns and hair removal. For scarring and hair loss, she uses steroid injections directly into the affected area.

Dr. Mohamed has presented at dermatology conferences across the Middle East and Europe and is active in both medical and aesthetic dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the European Academy of Dermatology. She speaks Arabic and English and is based at Medcare Medical Centre, having previously worked at the American Hospital Dubai, Mediclinic Abu Dhabi and Medcare Women and Children Hospital.
