Dr. Mohd Ilyas

Dr. Mohd Ilyas is Specialist and Head of the Department of Radiology at Aster Hospital Sharjah. He holds an M.B.B.S and M.D in Radio-diagnosis from Government Medical College, Jammu, and is licensed as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist by the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention. His advanced training includes the Oxford Clinical Neuroimaging Course from the University of Oxford, the SIIM-NIIC Graduate Course, and the RSNA Imaging AI Certificate.

Dr. Ilyas specializes in brain imaging (neuroradiology and pediatric neuroradiology), imaging informatics, and the application of artificial intelligence in radiology. He uses advanced diagnostic imaging and neuroimaging techniques to evaluate conditions affecting the brain and nervous system in both children and adults. His expertise spans the integration of modern imaging technology with computational analysis.

He is a member of leading radiology organizations including the Royal College of Radiologists (UK), Radiological Society of North America, Society of Pediatric Neuroimaging, European Society of Radiology, and Indian Radiological and Imaging Association. Dr. Ilyas is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Kashmiri, and Punjabi.
