Dr. Nina Schreiner

Dr. Nina Schreiner is a kidney specialist with over 12 years of experience in nephrology and internal medicine. She holds German Board qualification (Facharzt) in Nephrology and is also accredited as a Diabetologist. She trained at the Medical University of Innsbruck, Austria, and completed clinical fellowships in Nephrology and Internal Medicine at Robert-Bosch-Krankenhaus Stuttgart, Germany. Before joining NMC Royal Hospital – Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi, she worked at the Diabetes Clinic Bad Mergentheim and Nephrocare dialysis centre in Germany.

Dr. Schreiner manages the full spectrum of kidney disease, from early detection through end-stage renal failure. She treats acute and chronic kidney problems, kidney disease linked to diabetes and high blood pressure, glomerular kidney disease, and electrolyte imbalances. She provides all forms of renal replacement therapy (dialysis and transplant-related care) and specializes in pre- and post-transplant kidney management.

Her dual expertise in nephrology and diabetology makes her particularly well-suited for patients whose kidney problems stem from or are complicated by diabetes. She brings both German medical training and regional Middle Eastern experience to her practice.
