Dr. Geetha Balan

Dr. Geetha Balan is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist with 27 years of experience caring for pregnant women and managing gynaecological conditions. She trained in Kerala, India, obtaining her medical degree from Kerala University and postgraduate qualifications in obstetrics and gynaecology from Mahatma Gandhi University. She completed additional fellowships in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery, hysteroscopy (examination of the uterus), and cosmetic gynaecology.

Dr. Balan has a particular focus on high-risk pregnancies, routine maternity care, and both minor and major gynaecological procedures. She evaluates adolescent and adult gynaecological health with special attention to menopause-related concerns, uterine removal surgery, cervical cancer screening, colposcopy (detailed cervical examination), recurrent miscarriage, and infertility assessment.
