Dr. Nabil Baghdadi

Dr. Nabil Baghdadi is a board-certified gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over a decade of clinical experience managing digestive and liver conditions. He completed his medical degree in Beirut and undertook specialist training in internal medicine and gastroenterology, earning certification from the Arab Board. He has been practising in Dubai since 2012, previously working at major tertiary hospitals including Rashid Hospital and Dubai Hospital under the Dubai Health Authority. He holds membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and is an active member of the Gastroenterology Society in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Baghdadi diagnoses and treats a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders including acid reflux, peptic ulcers, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and various functional digestive conditions. He has a particular clinical interest in liver diseases, specializing in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis, autoimmune liver conditions and liver cirrhosis. As a skilled endoscopist, he regularly performs both diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, including polyp removal, biopsy and treatment of bleeding. He also offers specialized diagnostic tests such as oesophageal pH monitoring, oesophageal pressure studies, liver stiffness measurement (FibroScan), breath tests for infection and hydrogen breath testing for food intolerance.
