Dr. Arijit Audhya

Dr. Arijit Audhya is a Specialist in Otolaryngology at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai, with 17 years of clinical experience. He trained at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in India, where he earned his MBBS and later his Master's degree in ENT, followed by specialist training in allergy and asthma at leading Indian hospitals. He began his career as an ENT Consultant in Assam and West Bengal before serving as an Assistant Professor at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute in Pondicherry.

For the past decade, Dr. Audhya has practiced in Dubai, developing a broad expertise in nasal and sinus diseases, ear conditions, voice disorders, and sleep problems. He treats a wide range of conditions including chronic headaches, nasal blockage, ear discharge and pain, throat pain, chronic cough, voice disorders, sleep apnoea, and snoring. He has a special interest in allergic rhinitis and asthma, and regularly manages paediatric cases involving tonsillitis, adenoid hypertrophy, ear pain, and foreign-body removal.

His surgical practice encompasses nasal endoscopic surgery (FESS), polyp removal, septoplasty, turbinate reduction, eardrum repair (tympanoplasty), mastoid surgery, sleep-apnoea procedures, middle-ear surgery, tube insertion, and vocal-cord surgery for polyps and nodules. Dr. Audhya is known for his methodical and thorough approach to diagnosis and treatment, and speaks seven languages including English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Oriya, and Tamil.
