Dr. Mona Joumaa

Mona is an experienced clinical dietician with more than 10 years of hospital-based practice. She graduated from Saint Joseph University in Beirut in 2008 with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and has since worked at a Johns Hopkins-affiliated hospital in Lebanon before relocating to Dubai, where she now practices at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital.

Mona works with patients across all age groups—from children to seniors—who need professional nutritional therapy. She has completed specialized training in renal nutrition, tube and IV feeding for critically ill patients, bariatric (weight-loss surgery) support, paediatric nutrition, obesity management, and gastrointestinal conditions. She stays current with healthcare quality standards, accreditation requirements, and food safety practices.

Beyond clinical work, Mona is active in community health promotion, leading wellness campaigns in schools, speaking at panel discussions and in media, and teaching at university level.
