Dr. Gul Rehman

Dr. Gul Rehman is a Specialist Neurosurgeon in the Department of Surgery at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He graduated from Khyber Medical University in Pakistan in 2009 and completed his neurosurgery residency at the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 2017. Beyond his core training, he has pursued advanced education including the Arab Spine Diploma, a Berlin Anatomy Course, and specialist training through NASSIC. He also served as a clinical instructor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences in Dubai, combining patient care with teaching.

Dr. Rehman's clinical expertise spans brain and spine tumours, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, neck and back pain, cervical and lumbar disc diseases, and minimally invasive spine surgery. He is also experienced in managing serious conditions such as subarachnoid haemorrhages (bleeding around the brain), intracranial hematomas (bleeding inside the skull), hydrocephalus (excess fluid around the brain), and Chiari malformations (structural brain abnormalities).

He brings a patient-centred approach enhanced by his background as an educator and his commitment to combining innovation with clinical practice. His multilingual abilities—English, Urdu, Pashto, and Hindi—help him communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
