Dr. Olga Vartzioti

Dr. Olga Vartzioti is a European Board-certified consultant pulmonologist with over 20 years of clinical experience across Greece, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. She holds the prestigious ERS HERMES Diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine and is registered with the Dubai Health Authority and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. Her training includes residency in respiratory medicine in Athens and fellowship experience in respiratory-allergy care at a leading teaching hospital.

Dr. Vartzioti manages a wide range of respiratory conditions including asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), bronchiectasis, chronic cough, shortness of breath, sleep apnoea, and interstitial lung diseases. She is experienced in pulmonary function testing and respiratory infection management, and has collaborated as a co-investigator in clinical trials for asthma and COPD. Her clinical work has included managing major respiratory outbreaks such as H1N1.

Driven by her own passion for distance running and athletics, Dr. Vartzioti has developed a particular expertise in assessing and treating exercise-related breathing problems—including exercise-induced asthma, noisy breathing during exertion, and exercise-associated cough.
