Dr. Anas Abdul Majeed

Dr. Anas Abdul Majeed is a Consultant Neurologist at Medcare Hospital, Al Safa, with 25 years of clinical experience. He trained in India, earning his MBBS from Govt Medical College under The University of Kerala, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine and a DM (Neurology) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. He completed specialist training in movement disorders and deep brain stimulation at Cleveland Clinic in the USA, and holds a postgraduate diploma in healthcare management from Cambridge International University.

He manages a broad spectrum of neurological conditions ranging from common problems like neck and back pain, headaches, and migraines to complex disorders including Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and peripheral neuropathy. He is experienced in treating facial paralysis, muscle disorders, vertigo, and pain syndromes such as carpal tunnel, fibromyalgia, complex regional pain syndrome, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Dr. Anas brings leadership experience from his previous roles across the region, including serving as Acting Chief of Medical Services at Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital in the UAE and as an adjunct clinical assistant professor at the University of Sharjah. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the UAE Chapter of the Society of Neurovascular Intervention, and has contributed significantly to quality improvement and medical education initiatives.
