About Dr. Maged Fahim
Dr. Maged Fahim is an Egyptian-British consultant cardiologist with more than 15 years of clinical experience. He trained at Ain Shams University Hospitals in Cairo, one of Egypt's largest tertiary centres, from 2004, where he completed his medical degree, Master's degree, and Doctorate. In 2013, following his Doctorate, he became Consultant of Interventional Cardiology and was appointed Cath Lab Director — roles he held until relocating to the UAE in 2017.
Dr. Fahim is fully competent across all aspects of adult general cardiology and cardiac imaging. His specialization in interventional cardiology means he performs catheter-based procedures to diagnose and treat heart and vessel problems. Beyond clinical practice, he is committed to medical education, having been appointed Senior Lecturer of Cardiology at Ain Shams University, and has participated in several research projects.
He joined Mediclinic Al Jowhara in Al Ain in May 2022, where he continues to provide comprehensive cardiology care. Dr. Fahim is fluent in English and Arabic.
