Dr. Samar Sabir

Dr. Samar Sabir is a Consultant in Pediatric Endocrinology at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah with over 10 years of clinical experience in managing children's hormone and metabolic conditions. She trained extensively in this field, earning her MBBS from the University of Medical Science and Technology in 2003, followed by postgraduate qualifications (MD and MRCPCH) and specialized fellowship training in pediatric endocrinology through the PETCA program.

Dr. Sabir has built her career in leading pediatric hospitals and diabetes centers, most recently serving as a pediatric endocrinologist at Gaafar Ibn Auf Hospital in Khartoum, Sudan (2015–2023) and as a pediatric diabetologist at the Sudan Childhood Diabetes Centre (2019–2023). She brings expertise across a broad range of childhood endocrine conditions including growth and puberty disorders, thyroid and adrenal problems, diabetes, obesity, bone disorders, and disorders of sexual development.

Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Sabir is committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to diverse families. She holds membership in several international professional societies and was recognized with the Paediatric Endocrine Society International Scholars Award in 2018, reflecting her contributions to the field.
