Dr. Nyla Alam Khan

Dr Nyla Khan is a Consultant Radiologist with specialist expertise in breast imaging. She trained at Guy's, King's, and St Thomas' Medical School, where she obtained her MBBS and an intercalated BSc with First Class Honours from University College London. She completed her clinical radiology training at the Royal London Hospital and advanced her breast imaging skills through a fellowship at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London. She holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) and her Certificate of Completion of Training from the General Medical Council (2020).

Dr Khan is skilled across all breast imaging techniques including mammography, tomosynthesis (3D mammography), ultrasound, elastography, contrast-enhanced spectral mammography (CESM), and MRI. She performs image-guided procedures such as vacuum-assisted biopsies, excisions, and pre-surgical wire localisations for breast lesions. Before joining Mediclinic, she worked as a Consultant Breast Radiologist with the UK's National Health Service (NHS).

She was awarded First Prize for Best Scientific Poster at the British Society of Breast Radiology in 2019 and has completed the Executive Leadership Programme at Oxford University's Saïd Business School. She is committed to patient-centred diagnostic and interventional care.
