Dr. Christiana Savvidou

Dr Christiana Savvidou is an orthopaedic hand surgeon with fifteen years of experience in hand surgery, upper extremity conditions, and sports injuries. She trained in medical school and orthopaedic residency at the University of Athens in Greece, then completed fellowships in hand surgery at Tampere University in Finland and at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Kentucky, USA. She now practises at King's College Hospital London (Dubai).

Dr Savvidou manages a broad range of hand and wrist problems, including fractures, nerve injuries, tumours, and sports-related damage. She specialises in microsurgery and nerve reconstruction, and treats both adults and children. She offers both non-surgical and surgical options, tailoring treatment to each patient's individual needs and goals.

Beyond clinical work, she has published research in hand surgery and contributed to the Hand Transplantation programme at the University of Louisville. She has taught in Greece and the USA, and is active in professional societies focused on hand and upper extremity care.
