Dr. Muna AbdulRazzaq Mohammad Tahlak

Dr. Muna AbdulRazzaq Mohammad Tahlak is a Consultant in General Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dubai Health, where she has worked since 2009. She trained at prestigious institutions including The Johns Hopkins Hospital in the United States (2000–2004) and Bayhealth Kent General Hospital (2004–2006), before joining the Dubai Health system. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of Obstetrics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and a Master in Public Administration from Mohamed Bin Rashid School of Government.

Dr. Tahlak's clinical expertise encompasses the full scope of obstetrics and gynaecology. She has a particular interest in emergency obstetric procedures, including peripartum hysterectomy (emergency removal of the womb after childbirth), and has published research on this topic based on 15 years of experience at Dubai Health. Her work also includes analysis of caesarean section patterns and obstetric interventions in tertiary care settings across the UAE.
