Dr. Moayad Shehab

Dr. Moayad Shehab is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon with more than 15 years of extensive surgical experience. He completed his medical degree at Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2010, followed by specialist training in General Surgery and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery in Germany. He trained at Diakonissen-Stiftungs-Krankenhaus, a teaching hospital affiliated with Heidelberg University, and subsequently served as a Consultant in Vascular Surgery in Germany before joining NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Shehab manages the full range of vascular disorders, including carotid stenosis (narrowing of neck arteries), aortic disease, mesenteric artery disease, peripheral arterial disease (poor circulation in the legs), and venous conditions. He performs both minimally invasive endovascular procedures (EVAR and TEVAR for aortic repair, peripheral arterial interventions) and traditional open surgery, including bypass surgery and dialysis access procedures (creating and revising fistulas for kidney patients).

He is particularly well-suited for patients with complex aortic and peripheral vascular problems who may benefit from catheter-based techniques, as well as those requiring traditional surgical repair. His multilingual background (Arabic, English, Deutsch, German) supports communication with diverse patient populations.
