Dr. Mena Aziz

Dr. Mena Aziz is an Associate Staff Physician in the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He trained at Assiut University Hospital in Egypt, where he completed his medical degree and specialist cardiology residency. With 17 years of experience, he previously worked as a Cardiology Specialist in Kuwait, where he played a pivotal role in establishing a new structural interventions program and mentored junior doctors in the echocardiography and cardiac imaging labs.

Dr. Aziz specializes in cardiovascular imaging and valve interventions. He has performed over 3,000 echocardiograms (including more than 300 transesophageal studies) and completed over 600 cardiac CT scans. He regularly diagnoses and manages advanced heart failure patients in high-volume centers that see 300+ complex cases annually. He holds board certifications in both Cardiovascular CT and Echocardiography.

Dr. Aziz is well-suited for patients needing specialized heart imaging, valve assessment, or management of complex heart conditions. He was recognized by Kuwait's Ministry of Health in 2023 for providing evidence-based care and his commitment to the medical profession.
