Dr. Rajeev Lochan

Dr. Rajeev Lochan is a consultant interventional cardiologist with more than 30 years of experience. He has held senior leadership positions as head of cardiology departments at Medeor Hospital, Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, and Batra Hospital in New Delhi. His training includes advanced study at Middlesex Hospital in London and the University of Leicester, where he served as a lecturer in cardiology. He has also taught as an associate professor of cardiology at G.B. Pant Hospital and MA Medical College in Delhi.

Dr. Lochan specializes in acute heart attack treatment through primary percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) available 24/7, as well as complex coronary and peripheral blood vessel interventions. He performs pacemaker implants, ICD (implantable cardioverter-defibrillator), and CRT (cardiac resynchronization therapy) device placement with follow-up reprogramming. His non-invasive diagnostic work includes ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and implantable loop recorders.

With over 50 presentations and publications in international and Indian cardiology journals and conferences, Dr. Lochan has contributed significantly to the field. He has served as founder president of the Cardiological Society of India (UAE chapter) and holds leadership roles in major cardiology organizations including the Indian College of Cardiology and the Cardiology Society of India.
