Dr. Anil Chowdhery

Dr. Anil Chowdhery is an experienced ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon practising at Mediclinic Dubai. He holds an MBBS and MS in ENT from India's Armed Forces Medical College, and brings over 22 years of clinical experience managing both routine and complex cases. During his career, he has performed more than 5,000 major and minor ENT surgeries and previously served as Assistant Professor at Army Hospital (Research & Referral) and Army College of Medical Sciences in Delhi from 2008 to 2010.

Dr. Chowdhery manages a wide range of ear, nose and throat conditions and procedures. His expertise includes nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy (looking inside the voice box), and hearing tests using impedance and pure-tone audiometry. He is experienced in drainage procedures for throat abscesses and has particular skill in paediatric emergencies—removing foreign objects swallowed by children, treating voice-box injuries, and managing severe nosebleeds and breathing emergencies in children and elderly patients. He has also handled complex cases including facial nerve injuries from trauma and emergency tracheostomy (creating an airway opening in the windpipe).

Dr. Chowdhery is recognised as a teacher for specialist examinations by India's National Board of Examinations and holds life membership in the Association of Otolaryngologists and Head & Neck Surgeons of India and the Emirates Medical Association. His broad experience across routine and life-saving emergencies makes him well-suited to patients needing both everyday ear, nose and throat care and complex surgical management.
