Dr. Ehsan Ahmad

Dr. Ehsan Ahmad is a Specialist Anatomic Pathologist at NMC Royal Hospital Sharjah with 19 years of clinical and diagnostic experience across the Middle East, South Asia, and North Africa. He holds an MD in Pathology from Aligarh Muslim University in India and is certified by the European Board of Pathology. He is an associate member of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK) and active in the European Society of Pathology and Emirates Medical Association.

Dr. Ahmad specializes in examining tissue samples from surgical biopsies, with particular expertise in breast, gynecological, and gastrointestinal pathology. He reports cytology specimens (cell samples), performs immunohistochemistry (specialized staining to identify cell types and markers), and interprets frozen sections—urgent tissue analysis during surgery. He also conducts immunofluorescence testing for skin and kidney biopsies, helping diagnose inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
