Dr. Eman Al-Uthmani

Dr Eman Al-Uthmani is an Obstetrics & Gynaecology Consultant at Danat Al Emarat Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with more than 30 years of clinical experience. She trained in the UK through the Thames Valley Deanery (2002–2008) and holds the Certificate of Completion of Training from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Her medical degree (MBBS) is from the University of Baghdad, completed in 1988.

Dr Al-Uthmani specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies, abnormal placentation, and pregnant women with diabetes. She has extensive experience with women's pelvic health issues including urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, pelvic organ prolapse, and painful bladder conditions. She also treats heavy and painful periods, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and menopause-related concerns, and performs both laparoscopic (keyhole) and open hysterectomy procedures.

She brings additional expertise in advanced ultrasound imaging for gynaecological conditions and urodynamic assessment. Before joining Danat Al Emarat, Dr Al-Uthmani worked as a consultant at several UAE hospitals including Al Rahba, Corniche, Burjeel, and NMC Royal Hospital since 2012.
