Dr. Osama Batal

Dr. Osama Batal is a Consultant Orthopaedician with more than 20 years of clinical experience in bone and joint care. He trained in Germany, completing his specialist qualifications in orthopaedic surgery and trauma, and holds a medical degree from Baghdad University, Iraq. He is now based at Medcare in Sharjah and maintains active memberships in orthopaedic societies across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Germany.

Dr. Batal offers both non-surgical and surgical treatment for fractures across all ages, from children to adults. He specializes in hip and knee joint replacement for patients with degenerative joint disease, and performs arthroscopic (keyhole) procedures including ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff repair, and treatment of Bankart lesions (shoulder instability). He also corrects foot and ankle deformities to restore function and mobility.
