Dr. Yasser Menaissy

Professor Dr. Yasser Menaissy is a Senior Consultant in Adult and Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at Saudi German Hospital in Dubai, and a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Cairo University in Egypt. With over 33 years of clinical experience, he has successfully performed more than 8,000 complex heart and lung operations for both adults and children. He trained at leading institutions including Emory University Hospital in the USA and Torino University in Italy, and has practiced across Egypt, the USA, Italy, and the UAE.

Dr. Menaissy specializes in the full range of heart surgery. In adults, he performs open-heart bypass surgery (on-pump and off-pump), minimally invasive keyhole heart procedures for both bypass and valve surgery, and complex aortic root repairs for aneurysms and dissections. In children, he treats congenital heart conditions including septal defects, arterial switch operations for transposition of the great arteries, Tetralogy of Fallot, Fontan procedures, and aortic coarctation repairs. He is particularly skilled in arterial revascularization techniques and valve repair and replacement.
