Dr. Carmelo Barbaccia

Dr. Carmelo Barbaccia is an Italian board-certified ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon and head-neck cancer specialist with more than 26 years of clinical experience. He completed his ENT specialisation in Palermo, Italy in 1994, followed by a decade at the National Institute of Cancer in Milan (1995–2004), where he performed hundreds of head-and-neck surgeries. He then worked as a Head and Neck Consultant at Medway Maritime Hospital in Kent and Queen Victoria Hospital in West Sussex, UK, becoming a designated head-and-neck and thyroid surgeon for East Kent before relocating to Dubai in 2012.

Dr. Barbaccia has performed over 1,000 procedures involving head-and-neck cancer, thyroid cancer, and parathyroid disease. His practice focuses on the surgical management of cancers and benign disorders affecting the head, neck, and thyroid gland, drawing on extensive training in both Italian and UK cancer centres.
