Dr. Adriana Valero Garzon

Dr. Adriana Valero Garzon is a Neonatology Specialist at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over 15 years of clinical experience in neonatal and pediatric care. She trained in Colombia—earning her medical degree and pediatrics residency from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada—before completing advanced neonatology training through the Dubai Health Authority and UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention. She has worked in leading hospitals across Colombia and the UAE, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance neonatal intensive care.

Dr. Valero specializes in managing premature and critically ill newborns, with expertise in airway management, ventilatory support (including high-frequency oscillatory ventilation), invasive procedures (umbilical lines, PICC placement, lumbar punctures), and treatment of breathing disorders, infections, and birth defects.
