About Dr. Gayatri Karad Gupta
Dr. Gayatri Karad Gupta is a Specialist Dermatologist at Medcare Medical Centre (Townsquare, Al Barsha and Tilal Al Ghaf). She completed her MBBS and went on to earn a Diplomate of National Board certification in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprology from Dr. RN Cooper Hospital in Mumbai, India. She holds certifications from the Royal College of Physicians UK and the British Association of Dermatology, and has completed advanced training in facial aesthetics, dermatosurgery and injectables. Before joining Medcare, she worked as a Consultant Dermatologist and Assistant Professor in various institutions in India, then worked with Emirates Hospital Day Surgery in the UAE.
Dr. Gupta treats the full range of skin, hair and nail conditions including acne and acne scars, eczema and dermatitis, psoriasis, hair loss, vitiligo, pigmentation disorders, skin infections (fungal, bacterial and viral including warts and molluscum contagiosum), allergic reactions, seborrheic dermatitis, autoimmune skin diseases, and skin cancers (screened by dermoscopy). She also offers aesthetic treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers, thread lifts, mesotherapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for both face and hair. Her surgical techniques include skin tag and mole removal, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laser hair removal, tattoo removal, HIFU, CoolSculpting and microneedling radiofrequency (MNRF).
Dr. Gupta is committed to personalised patient care and has particular expertise in paediatric dermatology and biologic treatments for conditions such as severe psoriasis and alopecia areata.
