Dr. Jasbir Chhatwal

Dr. Jasbir Chhatwal is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience in women's health. She trained in India, where she earned her medical degree in 1995 (with distinction) and her master's degree in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1999. She then worked in Saudi Arabia before relocating to the UAE, where she served as Head of Department at Zulekha Hospital for 19 years. She now practises at NMC Speciality Hospital in Al Nahda, Dubai.

Dr. Chhatwal specializes in high-risk pregnancy care and management of common gynaecological problems including fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She is trained in both medical and surgical approaches, and is particularly skilled in minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) and hysteroscopy (camera examination of the womb). She has additional training in colposcopy (cervical screening) and obstetric ultrasound.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Chhatwal is committed to patient education and disease prevention. She has led awareness campaigns on breast cancer, cervical cancer, and uterine cancer prevention. She is known for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care and managing complex cases with precision.
