Dr. Loai Eid

Dr. Loai Eid is a Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist and Division Chief at Dubai Hospital's pediatric nephrology department. He completed his pediatric residency and pediatric nephrology fellowship in the United States and holds certifications from both the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Nephrology. With 17 years of clinical experience, he serves as Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Mohamed Bin Rashid University and Dubai Medical College.

Dr. Eid manages acute and chronic kidney diseases in children across inpatient and outpatient settings. He has extensive experience initiating all forms of kidney replacement therapy (dialysis) in critically ill children in the pediatric intensive care unit. His clinical expertise covers the full spectrum of pediatric nephrology, including kidney stones, fluid overload, high blood pressure related to kidney disease, and kidney transplantation. He also performs plasmapheresis (blood plasma exchange) for patients with complex conditions.

Dr. Eid is head of the Emirates Pediatric Nephrology Club and serves as the UAE representative to the Asian Society of Pediatric Nephrology. He is actively involved in clinical research and has published in international medical journals. He brings a combination of advanced training, academic involvement, and hands-on experience managing complex kidney conditions in children.
