Dr. Deepika Parihar

Dr Deepika Parihar is a consultant psychiatrist with 16 years of experience in mental health care, trained entirely through the UK's psychiatric system at The Barts and The Royal London Hospital. She is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK) and holds the MRCPsych qualification, along with membership of the Royal College of Ireland and their Diploma in Psychiatry. She also completed an MBA in Hospital Management to deepen her understanding of healthcare delivery.

Dr Parihar specializes in adult psychiatry, child psychiatry, and older-age psychiatry. She treats a wide range of conditions including mood and anxiety disorders, depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, autism, and sleep disorders. She has particular expertise in women's mental health and perinatal psychiatry—mental illness in pregnant and postnatal women, including postnatal depression, anxiety during pregnancy, and related conditions. She was instrumental in setting up the first perinatal mental health service for women at North East London Mental Health Trust.

Dr Parihar is an active educator and regular speaker at webinars and medical conferences. She practises at King's College Hospital London in Dubai, where she combines clinical care with teaching.
