Dr. Sarah Spencer

Dr. Sarah Spencer is a UK-qualified family medicine consultant who leads the primary care department at American Hospital Dubai. She graduated from Warwick University and completed general medical training in Oxford, where she gained her MRCP qualification in 2012 — a credential that strengthens her ability to manage both acute and chronic conditions. She holds membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and brings extensive experience from her work at a busy London polyclinic, where she built a large patient following and earned strong feedback from patients and colleagues alike.

Dr. Spencer diagnoses and treats a wide range of acute illnesses including colds, flu, sinusitis, urinary tract infections, and respiratory conditions, as well as chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, COPD, heart failure, and kidney decline. She also provides preventive care including regular check-ups, cancer screening, and cervical smears, alongside management of women's health concerns (menopause, contraception, preconception planning) and men's health issues (sexual function, lower urinary symptoms).
