Dr. Khalid AlZarooni

Dr. Khalid AlZarooni is a specialist general and hepatobiliary surgeon at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He holds dual board certifications from the Jordanian Board of General Surgery and the Arab Board of General Surgery, and completed his medical degree at United Arab Emirates University followed by residency training in an ACGME-I accredited general surgery programme. He brings 4 years of clinical experience and has worked as a hepatobiliary and renal transplant specialist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, where he also contributed to the SEHA COVID response. His international training includes a visiting internship at the Montreal Neurological Institute at McGill University in Canada.

Dr. AlZarooni's clinical expertise spans hepatobiliary surgery, pancreatic surgery, abdominal and renal transplantation, organ donation and procurement, and general surgery. He is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and the Care of the Critically Ill Surgical Patient.
