Dr. Alica Bystricka

Dr. Alica Bystricka is a consultant neonatologist with over 15 years of experience caring for newborns and premature infants. She completed her neonatology fellowship at Slovak Medical University in 2002 and holds a PhD in Public Health obtained in 2011. She has worked as a specialist and consultant in Slovakia and Abu Dhabi, bringing extensive expertise in managing the most vulnerable newborn patients.

Dr. Bystricka specializes in the care of extremely premature babies and has particular competency in mechanical ventilation—including different ventilation modes and pulmonary monitoring—as well as neonatal transport. Her training in public health complements her clinical focus on improving outcomes for critically ill infants in intensive care settings.
