Dr. Samir Joshi, MS

Dr. Samir Joshi is a highly experienced ENT specialist with over 28 years of surgical and academic practice. He earned his Master of Surgery (MS) in ENT from Government Medical College, Nagpur, India in 1996, and has held senior roles including Dean, Professor, and Head of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at leading teaching hospitals in India—BJ Medical College and Sassoon Hospitals in Pune, and KJ Somaiya Medical College in Mumbai. He has mentored more than 50 ENT surgeons now practising across India, the UK, and the UAE.

Dr. Joshi has performed and supervised over 23,000 major ENT surgeries throughout his career. His expertise spans general ear, nose and throat care, microsurgery of the ear, endoscopic sinus surgery, microlaryngeal procedures, and complex skull base surgery. He is also experienced in cochlear implant surgery for hearing restoration and paediatric ENT procedures. He has published over 60 research papers in reputed journals and received recognition including the Best Medical Teacher Award from Maharashtra's Directorate of Medical Education & Research and national recognition for his work in cochlear implant surgery.
