Dr. Shafeek Kiblawi

Dr. Shafeek Kiblawi is a Consultant Emergency Physician and Head of the Emergency Department at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai. He brings a unique background combining pre-medical experience as a firefighter and paramedic in the United States with formal medical training. He completed his medical degree at the American University of Beirut, followed by specialized residency training in Emergency Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, plus two years focused on disaster management.

Dr. Kiblawi has broad expertise across adult and paediatric emergency care, trauma management, critical care, and emergency medical services. Since joining Mediclinic Parkview in 2019, he has built a track record in high-acuity and high-pressure environments. He holds NREMT-P (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians – Paramedic) certification and serves as an instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and the DHA's Disaster Readiness Program. He has led medical operations during multiple humanitarian evacuation missions and has contributed to the medical literature through peer-reviewed publications presented at conferences across the USA, UAE, and internationally.

His combination of hands-on paramedic experience, formal emergency medicine training, and demonstrated leadership in crisis situations makes him well suited to patients requiring acute stabilization, trauma care, or management during medical emergencies, particularly those with complex or time-critical presentations.
