Dr. Silvia Ricci

Dr. Silvia Ricci is an Associate Staff Physician in the Plastic Surgery Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Surgical Institute. She brings 22 years of experience, having previously worked as a Consultant at the Plastic Surgery Unit of AUSL Bologna in Italy and in private practice. She trained at the University of Ferrara for her medical degree and completed her residency in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the University of Udine with honours.

Dr. Ricci has developed extensive expertise across reconstructive surgery, burn care, trauma surgery, cancer-related reconstruction, and diabetic foot management, with a particular focus on advanced wound care and lower limb reconstruction. She has advanced microsurgery training and holds a Master's degree in Orthoplastic Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome. During her time at AUSL Bologna, she performed 589 surgical procedures as primary surgeon in 396 cases, including 233 skin cancer procedures (melanoma, basal cell and squamous cell carcinoma), 212 breast reconstructive procedures, and 92 orthoplastic cases for lower limb trauma.
