Dr. George Varghese (PART TIME)

Dr. George Varghese is a Specialist in Orthopaedics at Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital, Dubai. He trained at Melbourne University in Australia, where he completed his medical degree, specialist qualification in orthopaedics, and a fellowship in arthroscopy and joint reconstruction. With over 25 years of experience across Australia, India and the UAE, he has held senior roles including associate professor in India and visiting consultant to Queensland's government health system.

Dr. Varghese specializes in keyhole (arthroscopic) surgery of the knee, shoulder, wrist and ankle, as well as primary and revision joint replacements of the knee, hip and shoulder. He has particular expertise in sports-related injuries and has worked as a sports medicine consultant for international sporting venues. His background as a professional tennis player gives him direct insight into athletic injuries and rehabilitation.

He takes a patient-centred approach, combining technical surgical skill with understanding of individual needs.
