Dr. Firas Younis

Dr. Firas Younis is a European-trained Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at King's College Hospital London – Dubai. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed his specialist training in General and Colorectal Surgery in East Anglia and Cambridge, UK, where he obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). He holds the Intercollegiate Fellowship (FRCSI) in General Surgery with specialist focus in colorectal surgery, and completed a post-CCT fellowship in laparoscopic and open colorectal surgery at North Shore Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.

Dr. Younis manages a wide range of colorectal conditions including bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor problems, diverticular disease, and pouch reconstruction. He performs colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and laparoscopic surgery, and is JAG-accredited in endoscopy. For suitable cases, he uses robot-assisted surgery with the Da Vinci Xi and Da Vinci 5 systems to achieve greater precision in complex colorectal, general surgery, and endometriosis procedures.
