Dr. Tamara B. AlKeileh

Dr. Tamara AlKeileh is a general surgeon with 7 years of specialist experience. She trained in medicine at Jordan University of Science and Technology and has completed advanced training in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery at Strasbourg University and the World Laparoscopic Hospital in India. She is currently a specialist general surgeon at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where she has worked since 2020.

Dr. AlKeileh performs a wide range of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic cholecystectomy (keyhole gallbladder removal), hernia repair using both open and keyhole techniques, appendix removal, and breast surgery for both benign and cancerous conditions. She also specializes in anal procedures including treatment of haemorrhoids, anal fissures, and fistulas, as well as pilonidal sinus surgery. Before joining Mediclinic, she worked for 4 years at NMC Specialty Hospital in Abu Dhabi and earlier in both public and private hospitals in Jordan.

Dr. AlKeileh has significant experience in emergency and complex surgery, including 2 years with Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), where she treated war-wounded patients during the Syrian conflict. She is a member of the Jordanian Surgical Society and the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
