Dr. Hischam Taha

Dr. Hischam Taha is a dual board-certified hand and burn surgeon leading the burn surgery division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. With over two decades of clinical experience, he is trained in all aspects of acute and secondary burn care, complex microsurgical reconstruction, general plastic and aesthetic surgery, scar revision, and post-bariatric body contouring. His credentials include membership and fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, specialist registration with the UK General Medical Council, and specialist qualifications in plastic and hand surgery from Germany.

Dr. Taha treats a wide range of conditions from acute thermal injuries to complex reconstructive challenges. He specializes in microsurgical reconstruction—particularly lower limb trauma and breast reconstruction—having undertaken the prestigious complex microsurgical reconstructive fellowship in Bristol in 2014. He also manages scar revision, skin removal following weight-loss surgery, and aesthetic procedures. His approach combines evidence-based surgical technique with international best practice.
