Dr. Mohamed Sheta

Dr. Mohamed Sheta is a Consultant Neonatologist and Consultant Pediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in neonatal and pediatric medicine. He trained extensively in neonatal care, including a structured 5-year neonatal training program in a Level 3 neonatal intensive care unit from 2003 to 2008, followed by 4 years of pediatrics and neonatal training. He holds the MRCPCH qualification from the UK with GMC registration, along with two other postgraduate certificates in pediatrics and neonatology from Egyptian universities. He also has professional qualifications in health organization management.

Dr. Sheta specializes in the care of newborns and infants in intensive care settings, particularly managing premature babies and critically ill children. He works with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Saudi German Hospital Dubai, a Level III facility with 24/7 coverage that accepts premature infants under 32 weeks gestation and under 1500 grams. He also supports the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, which serves children from one month to 13 years old with medical and surgical conditions. His clinical focus includes managing complex newborn conditions, pediatric allergies, gastrointestinal and nutritional issues in children, and coordinating immunization programs.
