Dr. Sheik Ryaz Yaseen

Dr. Sheik Ryaz Yaseen is a Senior Consultant Neurologist with over 17 years of experience in clinical neurology. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Debrecen, Hungary in 2002, and worked for many years as a Senior Consultant Neurologist at Oslo University Hospital in Norway before joining HealthPoint Abu Dhabi in 2022. He is board-certified in Norway and registered as a Dubai Healthcare Professional.

Dr. Yaseen specializes in a broad range of neurological conditions including headaches and migraines, movement disorders, epilepsy, nerve damage (neuropathies), and neuromuscular conditions such as motor neuron disease. He has particular expertise in autoimmune neurological diseases, notably multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders. He also offers specialized ultrasound and electromyography (EMG)-guided botulinum toxin injections for conditions like muscle rigidity (dystonia), muscle tightness (spasticity), excessive drooling (sialorrhea), and chronic migraine management.
