Dr. Sharmila Tulpule (PART TIME)

Dr. Sharmila Tulpule is an orthopaedic surgeon and regenerative medicine specialist at Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital in Dubai. With over 30 years of experience across India and the UAE, she has built expertise in both traditional orthopaedic surgery and cutting-edge regenerative approaches. She trained at GMC Nagpur in India and holds advanced qualifications in regenerative medicine from the USA, including board certification (DABRM) and fellowship status (FABRM).

Dr. Tulpule treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions—from sports injuries and chronic back pain to joint damage and osteoporosis. She performs arthroscopic (keyhole) knee surgery, administers stem cell and PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections, evaluates arthritic joints, and manages orthopaedic trauma. Her practice spans emergency orthopaedics, sports medicine, shoulder and ankle injuries, and ligament and tendon problems. She is also involved in clinical research and education on biological treatments for bone and joint conditions.

Dr. Tulpule founded Orthobiologix Clinic in Mumbai, India's first regenerative medicine centre affiliated with the American Board of Regenerative Medicine. She is known as one of very few female orthopaedic surgeons in the Gulf region and brings a commitment to advancing regenerative approaches beyond conventional surgery.
