Dr. Batoul Abdulmotaleb Sharifi

Dr. Batoul Abdulmotaleb Sharifi is an obstetrician and gynaecologist with four years of clinical experience, including one year practising in the Gulf region. She works at Burjeel in Abu Dhabi and is known for her ability to manage high-risk pregnancies and perform safely in high-pressure environments.

Dr. Sharifi is proficient in vaginal deliveries, elective caesarean sections, and emergency caesarean sections. She has particular expertise in managing complex deliveries, including cases involving placental abruption, multiple pregnancies (twins and higher), breech presentations (when the baby is positioned bottom-first), transverse lie (when the baby is positioned sideways), and women with a history of multiple previous caesarean sections. She also diagnoses and surgically manages early pregnancy complications such as miscarriage, molar pregnancy, and ectopic pregnancy.
