Dr. Wisam Ali

Dr. Wisam Ali is a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine who has been practising at King's College Teaching Hospital in London since 2003. He completed his specialist training (CCST) in the UK with a dedicated fellowship in pain medicine, and graduated from the College of Medicine at Baghdad University with his medical degree.

As an anaesthetist, he has extensive experience in neuroanaesthesia (anaesthesia for brain and spine surgery), bariatric surgery (weight-loss procedures), trauma and orthopaedic surgery, with particular expertise in ultrasound-guided regional nerve blocks—a technique that numbs specific areas without putting the entire body to sleep. As a pain specialist, he is a foundation fellow of the Faculty of Pain at the Royal College of Anaesthetists and holds a fellowship in interventional pain management from the World Institute of Pain, allowing him to perform minimally invasive injections and procedures to relieve chronic pain conditions.

Dr. Ali combines general anaesthetic care with specialised pain management, making him well-suited to patients undergoing complex surgery who need careful pain control, or those with long-standing pain conditions seeking non-surgical relief options.
