Dr. Hassan Al Rifai

Dr. Hassan Al Rifai is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 15 years of surgical experience, trained internationally across six countries. He practices at Valiant Clinic in City Walk, Dubai, and specializes in lower limb reconstruction, joint replacements, and sports-related injuries. He holds a Certified Fellowship in Lower Limb Reconstruction from the University of Toronto and a FIFA Diploma in Sports Medicine.

Dr. Al Rifai treats a wide range of orthopaedic conditions using advanced and minimally invasive techniques. His expertise spans knee sports injuries (ACL, meniscus, and cartilage damage), hip and knee replacements, shoulder surgery including rotator cuff repairs, foot and ankle conditions such as bunions and flatfoot, complex limb trauma, and fractures that have failed to heal. He also treats paediatric trauma, hand conditions, and tendon injuries.

Currently, Dr. Al Rifai serves as Program Director of the Orthopaedic Training Program at Dubai Health Authority and Assistant Professor at the University of Sharjah, where he trains surgeons in advanced techniques.
