Dr. Sugandhna Malan

Dr Sugandhna Malan is a General Practitioner Cardiologist at Aster Hospitals Dubai with over 10 years of experience in general medicine, cardiology, and emergency medicine. She trained in clinical cardiology at the Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai, where she worked in non-invasive cardiology for over five years, and completed hands-on training in transesophageal echocardiography at PGIMER Chandigarh. She holds an MBBS from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology.

Dr Malan specializes in non-invasive heart diagnostics and monitoring. She performs transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echocardiography, tissue Doppler studies, bubble studies for heart defects, exercise stress testing, and 24-hour Holter and blood pressure monitoring. She manages patients with acute and chronic heart conditions, providing hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac daycare assessments. She also offers cardiac rehabilitation for patients before and after heart surgery, and provides fitness and performance assessments for sports clients.
