Dr. Mona Thakre

Dr Mona Thakre is a neurologist with more than 23 years of experience caring for patients in the UAE and India across government and private hospitals. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at Government Medical College Nagpur, then specialized in Neurology at the University of Mumbai. She is certified by the Royal College of Physicians UK and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, reflecting her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field.

Dr Thakre diagnoses and treats a wide range of neurological conditions, from common headaches and migraines to complex disorders like multiple sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and dementia. She is skilled in nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG) — tests that measure how well nerves and muscles work — as well as specialized evoked potential studies.
