Dr. Kwak, Hong Suk

Dr. Hong Suk Kwak is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon based in Dubai with over 20 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal care. He completed his medical training at Seoul National University and served as a professor at Seoul National University Hospital before relocating to the UAE, where he has played a key role in establishing orthopedic services and managing high-volume surgical programs across major regional institutions.

Dr. Kwak's clinical expertise spans hip disorders, arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and fracture management in both upper and lower limbs. He performs a wide range of procedures including minimally invasive arthroscopy of the shoulder, hip, and knee, as well as hip and knee replacement surgery. He is skilled in ultrasound-guided injections and procedures, and brings particular expertise to complex hip pathology including cartilage problems, labral repair, and revision joint replacements.
