Dr. Mohamed Shafiq Ummathoor

Dr. Mohamed Shafiq Ummathoor is a Specialist Pulmonologist at NMC Specialty Hospital in Al Ain, with over 15 years of clinical experience in respiratory medicine. He completed his medical training in India, earning his MBBS from P.S.G. Institute of Medical Sciences in Coimbatore (2000), followed by an MD in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases from Madras Medical College (2007), and a DM in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi (2014). He also completed specialized fellowship training in Interventional Pulmonology at Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad, where he gained advanced skills in minimally invasive bronchoscopy and thoracoscopy procedures.
